Disney on Ice

Magical. Just magical. Not sure how Disney does it, but even at Disney on Ice the experience is just so fun! If you haven't been before and are thinking about going..stop thinking and do it! You won't regret it. :)

We went last Saturday to Disney on Ice: Reach for the Stars. It was so much fun and I the boys had a blast. We saw Mickey & his friends, The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Beauty & the Beast, and Frozen. I was nervous that the boys wouldn't enjoy it because of the princesses, but there was so much action going on that they didn't mind it!

If you do go make sure you take cash! That's the best thing about mom's is they always have cash when you don't. HA. My mom was able to bust out some money for the snow cone guy and the wand man so that we could all have a little treat while we watched the show! The light up wands were a huge hit with the boys, especially Reed. The family in front of us weren't happy when Reed kept whacking them with it! It definitely wasn't intentional, I probably should have considered that I let a two-year old get a spinning wand, but do ya'll really have to be such grinches at something that's supposed to be fun and happy?!

Even this big kid had fun believe it or not! It was a tradition when I was little for my family to meet my aunt, uncle and cousin at Disney on Ice. It was always so fun for me to go, so I really wanted the boys to be able to experience it too (and take my mom with)! Derek also had never been before so I was excited for him to be able to experience it for the first time too!

The Little Mermaid scene was MAGICAL. I loved all of the shows, but this one was just so neat!

$50 tickets, $25 wand that your toddler hits people with, $15 snow cone, $15 cotton candy, one magical afternoon...priceless. We had so much fun and I can't wait to go again next year!

On a side note, this whole day was amazing because we ate at Red Lobster for lunch and had Panda Express for supper! Anyone who knows my husband knows this is a Christmas Miracle that he didn't make us go to the Cracker Barrel! The cherry on top was a quick trip to Target for things I didn't need!

What's some of your favorite traditions this time of year? Has anyone else been to Disney on Ice?!

xoxo
